A trilogy of character portraits for Singapore's national anti-smoking campaign by the Health Promotion Board.
Before filming I spent time with each of them. Went to their homes, met their families, heard their stories before the camera was ever on. All three were family men carrying real regret. All three chose to share it anyway, as a warning for anyone who might still have time to change course.
Mr. Mohan discovered a tumor in his throat. Mr. Chiu was diagnosed with larynx cancer. Mr. Sin found out his blocked heart vessels were the result of years of smoking.
