A co-op narrative spec written in Hazelight's voice (It Takes Two, Split Fiction), an exercise in matching an existing studio's tone while demonstrating reactive dialogue across two timelines.
Two brothers. Two timelines. The same relationship shown under completely different pressure and circumstances.
Scenario A is a childhood afternoon in the woods, their shortcut home that becomes an exploration, with light navigation, showing the early shape of who these two are to each other.
Scenario B puts the same brothers on a sinking WWII ship as adults. The same dynamic now running on urgency and rising water.
The goal was to write reactive dialogue that stays character-specific across both registers. Dan reaches down. Jason climbs up. That's the whole relationship in one mechanic, and every line of VO is supports it.
